Availability and Lead Time
Almost every tile that we produce is made to order. Therefore, our production times vary and are not guaranteed. Every effort is made to complete all orders in a timely manner. Most orders can be completed in 4 - 8 weeks. Extremely large and complicated or customized orders may take a bit longer. Please inquire to the current lead time when placing your order.
Rush Orders
We understand that in some cases tiles are need as soon as possible. We can offer a rush service for most orders. Depending on the size of the order, a rush order would be completed in 2-3 weeks. Rush orders are available for a 25% charge. Please call for availability of our rush service.
Color Choices
We offer 36 colors to chose from. When choosing your decorative tiles, keep in mind that you are welcome to choose both the background color of the tile as well as the color for any of the decorative elements of each tile. If you would like, just leave it up to us to choose the color of the decorative elements. We love to use our artistic expression to create a dramatic effect for each tile.
Finding an installer
Selecting a tile installer who cares about your job is essential to a good installation. Somi Tileworks, your tile showroom, or your building contractor can help you locate a competent tile installer. Find one who cares about your project, who really listens to you, and takes your concerns seriously. Asking for references or pictures of an installer's previous work can help you make a good selection. Don't be afraid to move on if you have misgivings about a particular individual. After all, you want your Somi Tileworks project installed the way it was designed.
Returns/Cancellations
Decorative tiles may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase date with approval. Any returns after this time period, are at our discretion and may be charged a restocking fee. Because field tiles are made specific for each project, returns are not accepted on field tile orders unless they are defective or damaged in shipping. Discrepancies between samples and finished pieces will occur. All tiles are handmade and may vary in size and color. Installation is acceptance of the product. Please call for approval for a return.
Once production begins on an order it may not be cancelled.
Inspection
Inspect your tile immediately upon delivery. In the event that tile have been lost or damaged in shipping, a freight claim must be made within 5 days of delivery. Installation signifies acceptance of the product and no post installation adjustments will be made.

Tile orders may be picked up by appointment or shipped through FedEx Ground.
